CERTIFIED NURSING
ASSISTANT course
WHAT IS A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT?
A Certified Nursing Assistant, or CNA, is an important member of the care team. They often spend the most time with patients than any other role, including doctors and nurses. It is an incredibly rewarding and an excellent starting point towards a career in nursing or healthcare in general.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, these certified allied health professionals provide hands-on medical care to patients by assisting them with basic activities like bathing, dressing, and many other activities we often take for granted. Essentially, they help people with a limited ability to care for themselves complete daily tasks with ease. They provide intimate care that really makes a difference to the people who depend on them, whether their patients are elderly, disabled, injured, ill, or otherwise infirm.

WHAT IS OUR CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT TRAINING COURSE ABOUT?
Regan Career Institute offers accredited nurse assistant training which is approved by the California Department of Public Health. Upon satisfactory completion of the course, each graduate will receive a certificate of eligibility so they can take the State Competency Test through the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) / American Red Cross. This exam will test both your book knowledge and practical skills learned during training. All nurse assistant students must pass this state certification exam before they can become certified nursing assistants in the State of California.
